One of the oldest properties in Mukteshwar. I first went in 2009 and have been there atleast half a dozen times since then. It has a great location and a very clear view of the himalayan ranges from all the rooms. While the menu options aren't much but whatever they offer is good.

Excellent hotel location. For Mountain View Hotel is very well maintained. Excellent view from the rooms . Specially the second floor rooms from the balcony. We saw the Himalayan range specially Trishul , Nanda Devi and Panchachulli . Awesome view . Food is good in the restaurant . Added bonus is the historic Anashakti Ashram which is located right next to the hotel. Sit in their premises viewing point to have a look at the Majestic Himalayan range . Enjoy the serenity

Awasome experience at Krishna Mount View We stayed at this property on 17/10/22 at room no. 207. We have booked one luxury room with a very considerable amount of discount. Thank you Babitaji for providing us such a wonderful room in that price. Pros: 1. The room in the top floor is very big with very decent furnitures facing Panchachuli clearly viewed from the clear glass window. 2.The wash room with its amenities is not just excellent , it is outstanding. 3. Each room has a attached balcony to sit & enjoy the Himalayan picks. 4. Room service is prompt and adequate. 5. Staff behaviour is polite and attentive specially to mention" Manoj Ji." 6. The parking area is sufficient to park your vehicle in that hill town. 7. You need not go anywhere to watch spectacular Sun-Rise, you can just watch it from the adjacent balcony of your room. 8. The Anasakti (Gandhi) Ashram is just beside the hotel. Cons: 1. The only cons is its restaurant named "Vaibhav". The food quality is not at all desirable practically worst. We had ordered Chicken Pakora/Coffee as evening snacks. We met with these Pakora full of bones but nominal chicken. In dinner we ordered Chicken fried rice/Paneer chilli with chapati. They offered chapati like hard sole of shoes (afterwards they acknowledged the poor quality & Manoj Ji did not billed for this). So try to avoid the restaurant. So other than restaurant, the entire hotel is 5 Star quality to be marked "Outstanding"

To start with, the location is awesome. One does not have to go to any other sun rise/set point if you are staying in this resort. There is a special view point for these times of the day. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very polite and courteous. Room Services are quick. GM Mr. Sanjeev is very friendly and helpful person. We were two families with kids for a vacation and the time we spent was awesome. There are open and big spaces for kids enjoyment and all in closed perimeter. Parking space for cars which is necessary in hill area. Food is delicious, enjoyed vegetarian as well as non vegetarian foods. All sites are within 5 km range. Overall best place to stay in Mukteshwar.
